Alberta's Kevin Koe is at 5-and-2 at the 2010 Tim Hortons Brier. Koe, who dropped a 13-8 shocker to winless Nova Scotia earlier in the day - Tuesday was able to regain some ground Tuesday night by beating Manitoba's Jeff Stoughton 7-2. It was an uncharacteristically weak game for Stoughton, the two-time Brier winner.. Stoughton is also at 5-2 along with Quebec and Northern Ontario
Ontario's Glenn Howard is 7-and-0 and leading the standings, after two victories earlier in the day.
Newfoundland and Labrador climbed to 6-and-1 with an 8-3 win over New Brunswick Tuesday night.
Meantime, at the World Junior curling event
Canada's reps from Ontario are in the lead in Switzerland...
On the Women's side, Rachel Homan is alone in first place with a 6-0 record.. Sweden and Switzerland are tied for second at 5-1..
On the Men's side Jake Walker is tied with Norway and Scotland for the lead at 5-1..
